As a pediatric hematologist/oncologist, I am privileged to care for children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders. My expertise and clinical focus are on children with blood cancers such as acute and chronic leukemia. I also care for children whose leukemia may be resistant to conventional chemotherapy and help determine whether these cancers can be more effectively treated using targeted agents tailored to the genomic variants that may exist in each child's cancer.
Philosophy of Care
My philosophy of care is to provide personalized and comprehensive care to all of my young patients and to treat them not only to like a patient but also as individuals, each with their own unique experiences and ways of coping. We have a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to all patients. As a member of the Children's Cancer Institute of Joseph Sanzari Children's Hospital, I am honored to help guide children and their families through this very difficult experience.
