I always respect the advice I receive from Monmouth Family Medicine. It's always given at a personal level which indicates that they see me as a person and not just another patient.

I’ve been going to Dr. Gumina for over 40 years!

Great practice

The problem I have is that when you call to get a paper signed for disability or call about prescriptions. 90 percent of the time they get it wrong. I have called multiple times about disability papers being sent and they keep telling me to call a 3rd party group that pretty much don't speak English. They are not sending the correct paper, I have brought it in the office, and they still are sending my chart not this form. They also keep giving me the wrong prescription and when I call, they just pass you to different people. There is no one that takes any responsibility, in all the years I've gone to this office this has become ridiculous the number of times I have to call, and it still doesn't get fixed. I am ready to call the Drs personal number and I don't want to do that. He tells them what to do and they all screw it up anyway.

Dr. Gumina taught me on new medicine, and they are injections that I give myself once a week. And in order for me to overcome a fear of needles, you pick one out from the refrigerator, opened up the container, and demonstrated to me how to take my shot properly once a week on the right side, next week on the left side, and rotate them, and everything should be fine. And I'll show you how, he showed me how, and everything went very well. I take my first test this Friday.

Doctor Gumina is an excellent professional doctor who cares about his patients on top of being a nine friendly person. He constantly has doctor trainees assigned to help them receive on the job training and learn from his expertise.

Dr. Gumina and his staff are absolutely fantastic. Their concern about my health and everything that I'm going through is absolutely wonderful. I couldn't ask for better care than given by Dr. Gumina and his staff.

I had an injury to my foot and Dr Gumina got me in the office the same day and took care of my wound and gave me a tetanus shot. Dr Gumina and his staff are the best.
