Dr. Bouganim is a skilled and knowledgeable OB/GYN with a real passion for providing personalized healthcare for women. He grew up in Ocean Township and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Philosophy at Rutgers University, and his medical degree from Drexel University. He then completed his residency training at Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has held various leadership positions within the organization. He has been involved in research looking into optimizing the induction of labor process and improving patient safety.

In addition to providing evidence-based obstetrical care, Dr. Bouganim is trained in minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic operative procedures, as well as in-office procedures such as LEEPs, colposcopies, and IUD or contraceptive implant placements.

In his free time, Dr. Bouganim enjoys aviation, travel, and spending quality time with his wife and children.

My care philosophy is primarily to provide expert medical care to my patients, while taking the time to hear their concerns and treat each patient as if they were a family member or close friend. I believe that an honest and open relationship between physician and patient is crucial to achieving our health goals.

All went well. I have much respect formy doctor.

The office staff was lovely. I particularly liked that the doctor met with me and reviewed some things prior to my undressing and getting into a gown. That was a very nice touch and I was surprised. It was a great experience and I was absolutely thrilled that I came to see Dr. Joseph. Thank you. Bye-bye.
