Frequently Asked Questions

What medical or health care topics are you most passionate about sharing with the community?

I am passionate about the topics of Oral Immunotherapy, Inborn Errors of Immunity, Food Allergy, Seasonal Allergies, Asthma, Atopic Dermatitis, and Contact Dermatitis.

What health and wellness advice, related to your specialty, do you often share with patients to maintain their health?

I often share dietary considerations to improve gut microbiome health and reduce environmental exposures to chemicals and volatile organic compounds associated with allergic diseases and atopic dermatitis.

When should I or my child see an allergist and immunologist?

You should consider a visit if you or your child experiences chronic or recurrent symptoms that might be allergy-related. This includes frequent sneezing, a constant runny nose, itchy eyes, skin rashes like eczema, or hives. If you or your child has asthma that isn't well controlled, adverse reactions to foods, medications, or insect stings, or frequent infections that could signal an immune system problem, a specialist consultation is recommended.

What are the most common conditions you treat?

In my practice, I most commonly treat environmental allergies (hay fever), asthma, and food allergies. I also frequently manage skin conditions like eczema and hives, as well as recurrent sinus or ear infections. Additionally, I diagnose and treat primary immunodeficiency diseases, which are genetic disorders that impair the body's ability to fight infections.

My Doctor was very concerned about my allergies. Informing me that my nose is clearer now because I have followed her instructions with my nose spray and rye drops. Breathing better no more congestion. Also gave me an antacid pills to protect my stomach when using Advil for knees pain and a 2nd nasal spray whenever I'm exposed to mold. I am so happy with the treatment instructions for my allergies.
