Nicole Theresa Caragian, APN

As a Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Gastroenterology, I work with children with a variety acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders including reflux, IBD, failure to thrive, liver conditions, obesity, pancreatitis, and IBS. I've always had an interest in nutrition, gut health and treating patients with chronic conditions and I love working with kids with GI issues. Kids are extremely resillent and it's amazing to see the improvement patients can make over the course of a few weeks with a single intervention. I've loved forming relationships with the patients and seeing many of them grow up over the years.

Prior to coming to Hackensack University Medical Center, I worked in a private primary care office in Newark. My time in primary care was a great learning basis prior to transitioning to a speciality practice.
