Niyati U Chiniwala, MD

Dr Chiniwala is an excellent doctor and I'm blessed to have her as my Endocrinologist. I have complete faith in her knowledge and expertise and she's guided me safely through many serious illnesses. I have recommended her to my family and friends.

too long to wait

I scheduled my appointment for 10am, I received a text to be there by 9:30. Upon arrival the receptionist stated that she spoke with me about being there at 10. I don't remember, but in any case the doctor didn't show up to the office until 10:40am. She called my cell to let me know she was running late and if I wanted to come back later on, I stated that I took off from work in the AM. So they might as well wait. The visit could have been done virtually and at the very least I shouldn't have had to wait over an hour. Not sure I would go back.

Dr. Chiniwala is excellent. She is a very busy doctor, but she never seems rushed to get you out. She is difficult to get in with at first, understandable as she is an endocrinologist, but she is well worth the wait.

She explains a lot of things that I did not understand when I asked her to repeat it. She did it. She did. And she always comes in smiling. She never has a frown on her face, which makes the experience a lot easier to be there. And even though, you know, I hate doctors anyway, but she was very, very pleasant. I did recommend her to my girlfriend and she did go and she did like her. I would definitely, definitely recommend her and the staff to my friends. And right now, that's good. In the future, I don't know. But so far, she's doing OK. So anyway, that's it.

Dr C is extremely knowledgeable in her field, patient and respectful

Dr. Chiniwala is a very understanding and caring doctor. She listens, she explains, she makes you feel comfortable. And when you leave there, you leave there with a sense of, okay, everything went as well as expected. So I appreciate Dr. Chiniwala.

Even though I stayed in waiting room beyond the time of my appointment I didn't mind. When the Dr is with me she explains things and it takes time so I assume she is doing the same for her other patients also. I am very happy with her and my health is improving by following her suggestions and guidance.

Dr. Chiniwala is thorough and methodical. She's treating me for several conditions, so being thorough is very important. She also has a kind and gentle bedside manner. I had to wait a bit before getting in to see her, but I can see why. She is a wonderful doctor.

Staff is very pleasant and helpful
