Patricia M Torres, MD

Patricia Torres, M.D., is a board eligible general surgeon who has a special interest in breast surgery and robotic surgery. Dr. Torres will be joining the well established and highly regarded Atlantic Surgical Group and is prepared to perform a range of inpatient and outpatient procedures. As a location affiliated with Jersey Shore University Medical Center, this practice offers seamless access to the latest technology as well as a full range of support services.

Prior to joining HMH, Dr. Torres served as the Attending Physician for the Breast Surgery and General Surgery Oncology departments at Cancer Society of Venezuela at Hospital Oncológico Luis Razetti. She also completed her general surgery residency training at Jersey Shore Medical Center and Yale New Haven Hospital. She has published and presented on subject matters regarding oncology including melanoma and breast cancer. Dr. Torres has been an active member of the Society of Surgical Oncology since 2018 and received the Helping Hand award in 2021 as well as the Outstanding Teaching award at JSUMC. Dr. Torres aims to provide the highest quality, evidence-based care to her patients in a warm and comforting environment.
