Perry Z Wengrofsky, MD

Perry Wengrofsky, M.D.,  is a Multimodality Imaging Cardiologist and the Director of Interventional & Structural Echocardiography at the Hackensack University Medical Center’s Structural and Congenital Heart Center. Dr. Wengrofsky is the primary imager for patients being considered for structural heart interventions, both on the inpatient and outpatient basis. He works closely with the echocardiography lab to develop imaging protocols for structural heart patients in both the pre and post intervention settings.
 
Dr. Wengrofsky takes an active role in echocardiography and multimodality cardiovascular imaging education in both the general cardiology and structural heart disease fellowships. Dr. Wengrofsky has several peer reviewed publications in prestigious medical journals, and has also presented his work at multiple national and international academic conferences. Additionally, he has taken on leadership and professional advancement positions in local and national cardiology associations. Dr. Wengrofsky is dedicated to delivering exemplary care to his patients, characterized by his extensive knowledge and leadership abilities.
