Sunghan Yoon, MD

Sung-Han Yoon, M.D., is an internationally recognized cardiologist with expertise in interventional cardiology. Dr. Yoon has experience in completing over 2000 procedures for complex percutaneous coronary interventions such as stenting in left main artery with mechanical support and structural interventions including transcatheter aortic valve replacement, transcatheter mitral/tricuspid valve edge-to-edge repair, and transcatheter left atrial appendage closure. Prior to joining the Hackensack Meridian Medical Group, Dr. Yoon has worked in hospitals in a variety of countries and states and has achieved an extensive amount of experience

Dr. Yoon is a faculty member of the Transcatherer Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) and of the Heart Valve Collaboratory professional groups. Dr. Yoon has published over 100 peer reviewed journal articles and has presented on many topics related to interventional cardiology. From his high level expertise in both clinical and scientific fields, patients will receive state of the art care.  Dr. Yoon’s practice is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center and provides access to the latest technology and treatment options.
