Pooja Indukuri Raju, MD

Pooja Raju, M.D., is a board certified and fellowship trained physician who has recently joined Hackensack Meridian Medical Group. Her expertise and focus includes Interstitial Lung Disease Evaluation and Management, Pulmonary Hypertension Management, Lung Transplant Patient Evaluation and Management, and Interventional Pulmonary Services including Endobronchial Ultrasound and Biopsy, Bronchial Thermoplasty, Endobronchial Valve placement. Dr. Raju has additional special interest and focus on the management of sleep disorders such as REM Behavior Disorder, Narcolepsy, and other Hypersomnia Disorders.

With an extensive background in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, Dr. Raju strives to provide the highest quality treatments and makes it a priority to share her knowledge and experience with her patients. Dr. Raju has held numerous hospital appointments and leadership roles throughout her career. She previously served as the Medical Director of Adult Cystic Fibrosis at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Medical Director of the Sleep Center at Clara Maass Medical Center as well as an Attending Physician in Pulmonary/Sleep at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Raju has been an active member of the Teaching Faculty at NJMS for both Internal Medicine Residents and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellows. Her commitment to excellence is further demonstrated through her participation in professional affiliations, including the American College of Chest Physicians, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and American Thoracic Society.
