Rachel E NeMoyer, MD

Rachel NeMoyer, M.D., MPH, is a fellowship trained, board certified thoracic surgeon who has joined the Hackensack Meridian Medical Group family. As a part of Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. NeMoyer has access to the latest technology so she can provide her patients with the most innovative care they are seeking. She works alongside Thomas L. Bauer, M.D., who currently serves as the Chair of Surgery and Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. 

Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Medical Group, Dr. NeMoyer completed her fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Throughout her training, Dr. NeMoyer has earned various honors and awards and has contributed to numerous clinical trials, publications, and presentations. While at Cleveland Clinic, Dr. NeMoyer was mentored by world renowned experts in advanced esophagectomy and segmentectomy surgical techniques. Dr. NeMoyer also has extensive training and certification in advanced robotics on the da Vinci Surgical system. For her efforts, Dr. NeMoyer was selected as an AATS Thoracic Surgical Robotic Fellowship recipient and was chosen as the Cleveland Clinic HVI Robotic Surgery tournament representative.

Dr. NeMoyer prides herself on patient comfort and open communication. As a dedicated member of your oncology team, Dr. NeMoyer strives to incorporate all family members into a part of her patient’s care. As such, Dr. NeMoyer is very hands-on and comprehensive with her patients and family from the onset of her consultations, into surgery, and all the way through their recovery.
