Saleem Husain, MD

Dr. Husain is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist with more than 25 years of experience managing patients with cardiovascular disease that include congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, hypertension, venous disease and pulmonary embolus. Dr. Husain is recognized as a leader in interventional cardiology with annual procedure volumes placing him in or at the top of all of his peers. His expertise in performing complex percutaneous coronary interventions and peripheral vascular interventions gives patients treatment solutions when cardiac or vascular surgery is not an option. He currently serves as the medical director for JFK University Medical Center's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. His guidance and strong clinical presence facilitated the achievement of JFK being designated the first HeartCARE Center™ in New Jersey, a National Distinction of Excellence awarded by the American College of Cardiology.
