I have had very bad experiences with Hackensack hospital and with the Inserra Diabetes Center connected to Hackensack hospital. Due to my cardiologist, concern and recommendation for the practice I agree to go there. I was more than pleasantly surprised regarding my experience with the entire staff at the pulmonology office. I wish it was like that at the Diabetes Center at the Inserra Diabetes Center

Genuinely nice doctor. He listens attentively and provided a logical and no nonsense approach to my cough and asthma.

The only thing that disappointed me was he didn't introduce himself to me. I knew it was him because I saw his picture on line. To me it's very important that anyone who is involved in an office visit introduce themselves to the patient. I'm a nurse and I ALWAYS introduced myself to my patients. It's more personal that way. Other than that the visit was good ?

Dr. Ferrara was a perfectly understanding clinician and he was comfortable to talk to him about my concerns and he offered a treatment plan going forward and for right now.
