Dr. Shabbar Danish is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in advanced brain and spine care, with expertise in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, deep brain stimulation, stereotactic radiosurgery, facial pain, and minimally invasive laser therapies for brain and spine tumors and epilepsy. He currently serves as Chair of Neurosurgery at Hackensasck Meridian Neuroscience Institute at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he leads a nationally recognized team providing advanced care for complex neurological conditions.
Widely published and internationally recognized, Dr. Danish has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, including contributions to the field’s most referenced texts on laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) and deep brain stimulation (DBS).
