551-996-5308It is a privilege and great opportunity to lead the team of pediatric infectious specialists at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital as we strive to provide critical analysis, advice, and support to all hospital services with the aim to help optimize the prevention, diagnosis and management of all infectious challenges encountered by all pediatric patients and the wider community.
Philosophy of Care
I like to approach each new patient and clinical challenge with an open mind, as a good listener and observer. When I am with a patient and their caregiver(s), I see myself as an educator as much as I see myself as a learner.

All good thanks.
The provider, we have, he explains a lot of things, but we never thought that it was a nurse who was going to give the shot to my daughter. So we made an appointment with the doctor, and I thought it was the doctor who was going to give the shot to my daughter because I paid for it. And it was the nurse who did the job. And the nurse was pretty sweet. She was not really that sweet or anything. My daughter was a little scared that day, too, from her. So I was not happy that the provider was not the one who gave the shot to my daughter.
Listened to us thoroughly as well as asked us very important questions about our son. Respected our reasons to not inject our son with anything. Paid attention to our concerns and wrote them down. Ordered more tests. Felt like he truly cared. Was very kind to our son and took time after to answer more questions I had. Highly recommend Dr. Hagmann.
Great doctor and experience
