Dr. Simpson was excellent. He was highly recommended by my family as he has been taking care of my in-laws and my uncles and things like that. He did not disappoint. He was very kind, very thorough with his explanations. He allowed me to make a lot of questions, which I appreciate. And he was just overall a very nice doctor. Very, like very few doctors that give you the opportunity to express yourself and ask questions. And he was very nice in going step by step and in detail, going through the procedures and the questions that I had. So I'm very satisfied with the visit that I had. I think he's an excellent doctor, just as I was told when they recommended me to see him.

I was very impressed with Dr Simpson. He clearly had checked my medical history prior to our meeting and was well informed about my medical issues. He asked pertinent questions and also answered my questions. He also conducted a clinical exam. The whole visit was very relaxed and Dr Simpson was very patient and courteous.

My appointment was at 2:00 with an arrival time of 1:45. I did my part despite traffic issues. No one else was in the waiting room. I sat and sat. Finally another person came in at 2:15 and was seen immediately. I went to the receptionist and asked when I would be seen. I was told my appointment was at 2:20 which wasn't true and that I would be next. I waited some more. Another patient came in at 2:20 and was seen IMMEDIATELY while I still sat. No one from the reception area notified me of any delay. I stood up and waited for 2:30 when I was going to leave. If an office wants a patient to arrive early, then I should be seen on time and if you change the appointment time, then I should be advised. At 2:29.35, a woman finally called me in. She was completely unfriendly, did not introduce herself and mumbled most of her statements, most of which I guessed at. I tried to find her name, but was unsuccessful. She is the one who took the EKG. I had already decided to not continue with the practice when the doctor came in. I liked him. He actually looked at my medications thoroughly and gave some advice regarding one of them. Very few doctors ever look at the medicines I take, prescribing medicines without regards to side effects. So now I am in a quandary. I have discontinued seeing many doctors when the staff is arrogant, rude and unfriendly. I will give the office a second chance before trying to find a competent doctor with a competent and caring staff.

Overall, the visit was good. Doctor was good. Lacking in someone answering the phone in a timely fashion to be able to make an appointment, to ask questions to the doctor. Also, no available opportunity to email, only fax. Fax is way outdated. IMSCOM, you gotta open up the communication a lot better.

Dr Simpson was thorough, caring and spent a good amount of time with us. He asked pertinent questions and was encouraging. He understands the issues and addressed each one in a patient and positive manner.

I had switched doctors due to a lack of information and poor explanations of test results, which was part of the reason I experienced acute kidney injury. I'm very happy so far with Dr. Simpson, and I'm grateful he takes the time to explain the test results, unlike the previous cardiologist.

Always friendly and easy to understand

Dr. Simpson is wonderful. That's the only reason why I continue to go to see him is because he's a fabulous cardiologist. On the other hand, I had a girl give me an EKG. She was very rude. She told me to come into the room. She told me, lift your legs, lay down. And I said to her, are you always this friendly? And she said, I'm just doing my job. Very nasty, very curt, left me in a hallway because she was busy talking to the other nurses and they were laughing and giggling about something. I don't know what, but she was very rude to me. And that was the girl, I don't remember her name. She didn't even introduce herself to me. She was the one that did my EKG when I saw Dr. Simpson. And that's all I'd like to say. I was really, really taken back by the way I was treated

Improving the nurse attitude .

This doctor is a doctor that I would recommend to anybody. He's an old time doctor, what I consider an old time doctor where he really wants to know the patient, he really delves into the patient and he was just wonderful and I would recommend him highly.

Dr Simpson always explains things so clearly and I always feel confident and heard after his examination. He is always So precise in his care and yet he also is very understanding and caring. I always feel better about myself after his examination. I have confidence iI. His care.
