Yolanda R Tammaro, MD

Dr. Yolanda Tammaro is a board-certified fellowship trained breast surgeon. She received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine graduating with the James Felt Memorial Award for highest overall achievement. She then went on to fellowship training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she received the award for best clinical research amongst the residents and fellows. She offers compassionate and comprehensive care for both benign and malignant breast disease. Her multidisciplinary breast cancer program ensures a patient-centered experience, where an entire team of medical experts reaches a consensus before any treatment is delivered and is recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Dr. Tammaro utilizes the latest techniques including hidden scar lumpectomies, nipple and skin sparing mastectomies and oncoplastic surgery to provide the optimum cosmetic result and help patients get back to the best quality of life possible.
