Dr. Malik is very professional and very knowledgeable in his expertise

In previous years in going to other endocrinologists, they've always checked my feet. Here at this endocrinologist, they do not check my feet.

I waited an HOUR from my appointment time to be seen and this visit i felt very rushed because he had other patients waiting due to the delay. I did not feel heard this time, I had questions and data I wanted to share regarding my health and he was very dismissive and again quick to just offer weight loss medication. He walked in the room to see me at 9:10 and I was checked out down the hall, next appointment made and just got off the elevator at 9:22. I felt the first few times i saw him he was patient and listening but today he had no time and made me feel very rushed and like I was taking up HIS time when I paid for my visit. Very frustrating feeling.

Had an 8am appointment and didn't see the MD until 845am

Dr Malik and staff are always very nice, knowledgeable and provide me all of the needed information for my healthcare issues and are quick to respond to portal inquiries.

Dr. Malik was very nice and conveyed to me the test results for my ultrasound that I had and was very polite and kind. He seemed a bit rushed however I am confident that he thoroughly reviewed my lab test results and phlebotomy t. I would recommend this office to someone in need of this medical specialty.

This was not a pleasant experience. My appointment was scheduled for 2:00 pm. I arrived 10 minutes before 2:00 pm. I had to wait for over an hour to see the doctor. I sat in the reception area for about 30 minutes. Then I had to sit in the examination room for about 45 minutes before the doctor made an appearance. Dr. Aamir is an experienced, skillful, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring endocrinologist who, in my view, provides excellent care. However, the problem is with the Hackensack Meridian facility, specifically, the scheduling process. It is very disrespectful to schedule an appointment for a patient and then have that patient wait for over one hour to be seen by a doctor! This is ridiculous! Unfortunately, Hackensack seems to have taken over the healthcare systems and facilities in the Edison and Oldbridge areas! We are stuck with Hackensack. Every patient wants their healthcare providers not to be far from their homes! Therefore, if Hackensack has taken over JFK and other previously established healthcare providers, they should focus on what it means to provide healthcare, and stop treating patients with disdain and disrespect! Thank you!

The supporting staff in the office are all very helpful as well.

Excellent visit. Doctor is great.

What went really well is he gave me the right prescriptions combination to lower my A1C, which I do appreciate. But before this last appointment, I had to wait for like 45 minutes to an hour just to see him. Then his office is moved to the other side of the building, which is an inconvenience. And on top of that, when I did see him that last visit, not this recent one, he must have saw me for like two minutes and less. So I'm going to another doctor instead of him. And plus, the doctor I'm going to is closer to home.

Reduce the wait time during appointment time Nice doctor takes care of all health issues

The doctor is very good and he explained every thing and he has so much experience I recommend dr Aamir Malik he is a good doctor.

my only concern was the check in was done at one office but the actual doctor visit was done at another office. On the same floor but quiet a distance from the check in office. I have some walking (balance) issues and it just was alot for me.

He's a great doctor. He studied hard to become a doctor and I am very proud of him and I accept everything that he says to me and I know what he's talking about because he was the one that burned the midnight oil to study hard and become a doctor and especially a diabetic doctor. There's information concerning other medical concerns that were never discussed concerning my bone density, how I keep losing bone density, and I don't know why, and we were never discussed it.

He is the best! He takes the time to listen. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. You cannot find a better physician than him.
