Bo Tang, MD

Bo Tang, M.D., is board certified in Internal Medicine, specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care through interdisciplinary collaboration and a passion for innovation.

Dr. Tang  served as Co-Chief Fellow during her training. In this role, she was instrumental in co-founding and developing the hospital's PE Response Team (PERT) program, collaborating with administration and multidisciplinary faculty to improve care for patients with pulmonary embolisms. Her commitment to advancing medical education is evident through her experience as a leading instructor in simulation training for residents.

Driven by a global perspective on healthcare, Dr. Tang is the founder of the EPSI (Educational Programming to Ensure Sustainable Internalization of Quality Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine) project. This grant-funded, international initiative develops comprehensive curricula to help clinicians diagnose and manage complex pathologies in diverse and resource-limited settings.

Dr. Tang has presented cases and research at regional, state, and national conferences and is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She is excited to join a welcoming and collegiate team dedicated to clinical excellence, medical education, and improving patient outcomes.
